What to Expect
Patients seeking expert vein care or physician-led aesthetic treatments are welcome to schedule a complimentary consultation at our Lake Zurich clinic.
Vein concerns are best evaluated in person. During your visit, the physician will assess your condition, review symptoms, and determine whether treatment is medically appropriate. Insurance eligibility, if applicable, will be discussed after evaluation.

Treatments Guided by Medical Evaluation
At Advanced Vein Treatment & Cosmetic Center, all treatments are carefully planned and performed under physician supervision. We believe in a personalized approach, where each patient’s condition is thoroughly assessed to determine the most appropriate care.
Certain vein procedures may qualify for insurance coverage based on medical necessity, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate care while minimizing their out-of-pocket costs. During your initial consultation, we will discuss your condition, explain the available treatment options, and help determine the best course of action based on your individual needs.
Vein Conditions We Treat
At Advanced Vein Treatment & Cosmetic Center, we specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of vein conditions. Each treatment plan is personalized, based on your specific symptoms, needs, and medical history. Our expert team, led by Dr. Amjad Safvi, ensures that every treatment option is medically appropriate and tailored for the best possible results.
Conditions Treated:
Enlarged, twisted veins that cause pain, discomfort, and visible bulging, often seen in the legs. Varicose veins can lead to leg swelling, heaviness, and worsen if left untreated.
Small, dilated veins that appear close to the skin’s surface. They may not be painful but are often a sign of underlying vein disease, especially if they appear in large clusters.
Chronic sores that develop around the lower legs due to poor blood circulation. Venous ulcers can be painful and take a long time to heal.
Swelling in the legs and ankles caused by poor vein function. This can lead to discomfort and difficulty moving, especially after long periods of standing or sitting.
Darkened skin around veins, commonly caused by blood pooling and poor circulation. This condition is often seen in patients with advanced vein disease.
A serious condition where blood clots form in the deep veins of the legs, leading to swelling, pain, and potentially life-threatening complications if not treated.
A condition where fluid builds up in the body’s tissues, causing swelling in the legs, arms, or other parts of the body. It can occur when the lymphatic system is damaged or blocked.
A safe, non-surgical procedure that uses a specialized solution to treat small to medium-sized varicose veins and spider veins by causing them to collapse and fade.
Important Note for Vein Patients
Vein conditions require in-person evaluation. Online assessments cannot replace a physical examination.
Aesthetic Treatments
Botox
Botox is used to reduce the appearance of dynamic facial lines caused by repeated muscle movement, such as frown lines and forehead creases. At Advanced Vein Treatment & Cosmetic Center, Botox treatments are performed with a conservative, physician-led approach focused on maintaining natural facial expression.
Treatment planning is individualized and based on facial anatomy, muscle activity, and patient goals. Careful dosing and precise placement are emphasized to achieve subtle, balanced results rather than an overcorrected appearance.

Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are used to restore facial volume, soften lines, and enhance natural contours by addressing areas affected by aging or volume loss. Each treatment is planned following a medical assessment, with attention to facial structure, proportion, and balance.
We use FDA-approved hyaluronic acid–based fillers selected based on clinical considerations and desired outcomes. All dermal filler treatments are physician-performed, with a focus on safety, precision, and natural-appearing results.
Fillers used include:
Juvéderm® and Juvéderm Voluma®
